These data include more health worker occupations than are included in the UN metadata. The UN metadata specify International Standard of Classification of Occupations (ISCO-08) codes that map to the following SOC 2010 codes- 2211 Medical practitioners (ISCO-08 2211 and 2212) 2213 Pharmacists (ISCO-08 2262) 2215 Dental practitioners (ISCO-08 2261) 2231 Nurses (ISCO-08 2221) 2232 Midwives (ISCO-08 2222). The UN metadata also specifies ISCO-08 codes 3221 Nursing associate professionals, and 3222 Midwifery associate professionals. These two groups have no link to SOC 2010. Data follows the UN specification for this indicator. This indicator has been identified in collaboration with topic experts. |
