Indicator description	Fulfilling part (a) - the latest Census was completed in 2021 Fulfilling part (b) birth and death registrations in the UK are estimated close to the 100 per cent mark due to the established policies and regulations (see embedded links). Births must be registered within 42 days of occurrence, and deaths must be registered within 5 days of occurrence (8 days in Scotland).
